Chosen donuts
At long last you get to see the donuts we ate. I ordered the “Mango Tango” (lower left). I didn’t realize it when I ordered but the icing was actually fondant. The insides were a mangoish jelly.
My daughter had the one covered in Oreos. I think it is on yesterday’s menu and called “Dirt Doughnut.” My son had the “No Name” donut which had chocolate, rice krispies, and peanut butter on it.
Needless to say, unless you hate donuts, you will want to check out Voodoo Doughnut the next time you visit Portland.

Well, I’m not sure about checking it out…Mangoish jelly?
Nice photos, though. And did you say these “donuts” had no calories. Right?

They are all very good for you, I’m sure.
I’d be surprised if the Tex-Ass Donut (giant glazed donut shown a few days ago) is less than 1,000 calories.

Were you able to eat all of it. They look enormous and filling.

I ate half of mine. My 13 year old son, who is at the point in his life where he can never stop eating even though he doesn’t gain a pound, had no problem finishing it off.

I’m reading these posts at breakfast, over my boring, healthful cereal. Quite a contrast!
If your son is anything like mine he’ll go on saving you from yourself for a few years. Mine is 18, and still eating everything in sight without gaining weight.
