Electric car charging station

On our way into OMSI we noticed two charging station parking spaces. The last time I saw one of these was at Costco in San Jose, California in the 1990s. Never once was a car charging itself in those prime parking places at Costco. However, on our way out of OMSI we did see the above car charging.

Good shot. I hope we see many more of these in the years ahead.

A great idea who’s time has come. If we could just get rid of some of the monster cars on the road that might hit it, we would see a lot more of them.

Good stuff. Is that car really tiny, or does it just look small compared to the chunky vehicles beside it?

It was pretty small. Only three wheels and a single windshield wiper.

That is a ZAP Xebra. It gets about 25 miles on a charge and does up to 40MPH
They also have a truck that’s a 4 wheel version out now. They cost about $10K but you get tax credit so it works out to be less, not to mention the money you save on gas, about 3cents a mile to charge!
It’s fun for running errands around town.
