Ashland from the air

aerial view of ashland oregon air airplane

I took today’s picture of Ashland from the airplane soon after takeoff from the Medford airport. The plane was headed to San Francisco, and by the end of the day we were in Japan. The lake in the upper right portion of the photo is Emigrant Lake.

For more photographs from this flight see this entry.

Oregon creek

This creek is a tributary to the Rogue River near Galice, Oregon (northwest of Ashland).

Out ‘n’ About Treehouses (part 7 of 7)

Let’s wrap out this series on the tree houses near Cave Junction, Oregon with a photograph of one of the finest tree houses on the property.

Another view from the swimming pool (part 6 of 7)

Here is a different angle from the swimming pool at Out ‘n’ About Treehouses.

You can’t see them too well from this distance, but the field in the center of this picture is loaded with giant sunflowers.

Horse back riding (part 5 of 7)

There are lots of activities besides swimming when you stay at the treehouses. We went for horse back rides.
