Tonight The Brothers Reed will be at Southern Oregon Brewing in Medford beginning at 5. Tomorrow (9/26/15) they are triple booked. They kick things off in Talent at 2 @ Pashcal Winery, followed by a show at 6 @ South Stage Cellars in Jacksonville, and wrap things up at 10 with a show @ Prospect Historic Hotel. Check them out.
Today’s photo is from a show last month.

I can’t make it due to a prior commitment, but hopefully you can. They will be playing from 5:30 to 7:30. Bring some cash so you can pick up their CD, Sick As Folk. My wife can’t stop listening to it, and I like it too. One song off it can be heard here.
Aaron Reed was sick on this evening so The Brothers Reed turned into The Brother Reed. I had forgotten I had taken this photo until I saw their new video online. Check it out:

Buckle Rash is playing at the Brickroom in Ashland this Wednesday night (1/14/15) beginning at 9:30 p.m. That’s about my bedtime so I’m not sure if I will make it with work the next morning and all, but check them out if you haven’t already. Great band.
After tonight’s volleyball game, head down to Lounge South for some Buckle Rash. Things are supposed to start at about 10.
@BuckleRash First up last night was Buckle Rash. I had met these guys before for a 5-minute photo shoot for the Jefferson State Vines cover, but I had never seen them play live. I’m not normally one to seek out live experiences with bands who include words like “country” or “punk” in their description. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. They are fantastic.
This was also my first show at the Imperial Event Center in Medford. The IEC is beautiful–great sound, raised stage, best lighting in Medford, lots of nice seating, hardwood dance floor, and inexpensive drinks. The only drawback is you can’t see the band if you are in the bar. Maybe that’s a good thing if you are skipping one of the bands. 😉
I shot the Buckle Rash cover for this month’s (April 2014) Jefferson State Vibes. You can pick up a copy at most places in the Rogue Valley that have live music like Club 66 (Ashland), Musichead (Medford), The Laughing Clam (Grants Pass), etc.
