Throwing it back to last Thursday…

Not a snow day

Six inches of snow in my driveway and a downed tree meant I walked into work this morning. Classes are on at SOU, at least the ones that begin at 10 a.m. and later.

Everything is closed today. Classes are cancelled. Of course, that means I was even more anxious to get to work as campus is lovely and quiet.

I just gave a mini tour of campus to a mother and (prospective student) daughter who came all the way from Southern California to see SOU. With no employees (or students) on campus, weirdo faculty members, like me, are the only tour guides left.

Don’t go driving today. I saw two accidents on my walk to campus.

Today we will hit the books once again. This photo is from the way-back machine–pre DSLR and everything. This is not from fall but from spring of 2009.
