Paris Disneyland

When I was in Paris we went to Disney land. The lnes were long, it was really hot, and our feet ached, but other than that I think it was really fun! We were going to go to a Disneyland show, the only play that was in English, The Lion King. But as we were entering the building there was a sign that said Lion King was not playing on that day. We were so disappointed, but just to make sure we went inside. There were tons of chairs facing a stage. The stage had props for the Lion King all over the place. The lights were off and everyone who came in were leaving. So we left too.

As we wandered through Disneyland Paris we came across The Sword In The Stone. Kids were lining up in front of it to get their picture taken by their family members. So Ryan and I lined up too. And this is my picture with Excalibur.

We stopped at a gift shop to look around and maybe buy a T-shirt for Ryan. I really wanted this hat that had Donald Duck’s relative on it. It was really cute, but my mom said it was to expensive, so we ended up just looking, not buying!

This next picture was taken after we got off the It’s A Small World ride. There were little houses and objects that were from different places in the world. We could not stay long there because we wanted good seats for the night-time parade. But it looked really cool and detailed.

Soccer game

Yesterday we went to the F. C. Kobenhavn soccer game. They played against the Irish Cliftonville football (soccer) team. We found out the F.C. stands for Football Club. We sat in a seat that was surrounded by a bunch of drunk people who had too much alcohol in them too pay attention to the game. They were cheering the whole time. F. C. Kobenhavn smoked the Irish team 7-0.

Christiania

Christiania is this hippie town in Copenhagen that we went to. We went with my dad’s work. They gave us a guided tour by a man who lives there. They aren’t alowed to build new houses there so they use old goverment buildings. There is a lot of graffiti, even more than in the rest of Copenhagen. Some of the graffiti was really cool and cartoony though.

There is one street that you aren’t alowed to take pictures of because that is where all of the drug dealers are. All the playgrounds are all recycled with stuff like piano insides and tires. They are really into some German builders who come there and sometimes live there. I won’t be living there anytime soon though because Christiania has a really long waiting list for new residents.

National Art Museum – Copenhagen

When we went to the art muesum we did a lot of fun stuff, but the things I liked the most are these:

1. We went to a kids art camp that you could paint, draw, water color, build, glue gun and other cool stuff. Ryan and I had so much fun, we came the next day too, while our parents watched a jazz concert. I painted a picture of a flower close up and built a “dream ladder.” They called it dream ladder and what it was is you would make a doll-sized ladder and put your dream on the top. It could be your dream when you grow up or a dream you had in your sleep. I did the dream when you grow up, because I have been having some really strange dreams lately. The lady that worked there was really nice and gave you tips and helped you out. We had a lot of fun!!!

2. We went into a room where there were spot lights that kept on moving around, music, and a slide show of random people dancing. Since nobody was in there my mom, Ryan and I broke out dancing and when other people came in, we could not help it, we just could not stop dancing!

3. There was a little golden retriever stuffed animal in the middle of one of the rooms with paintings. He had jester shoes and a french hat with a feather sticking out of it. There were other clothes on a shelf that you could dress him up in. So I dressed him up as an old fashion movie star. Ryan finished the last touch; he added dark black sun glasses and the dog was all set!!!

We had a really good day full of fun.
