I&#039;ve been in the Chichibu region twice, once for a boat tour and some wandering around and once for a kanu tour. Both were quite enjoable and the scenerey in the Chichibu region is really great.

@gogouci: The Chichibu area is not in Tokyo, it is actually to the north-west. Depending on the trains that you take and from where you start, I&#039;d say it takes between one and two hours to get there from Tokyo.</description>
