In the end, SOU didn&#8217;t have the best record, but they had the toughest schedule, and, most importantly, they beat the teams with the better won-loss percentages in the World Series to bring home the national championship.<\/p>\n<p>The Cascade Conference was the only conference with four teams in the top 18.
