Tourists come to Ashland and watch five or more plays on their mini-vacations. I have a tough time making it through a single performance a year. Such was the case a couple weeks ago when we went to see &#8220;The Pirates of Penzance.&#8221; Everyone in the audience seemed to love this musical. After the first few minutes I was longing to be anywhere else.<\/p>\n<p>The best part, by far, of this experience for me was watching the sunset behind the <a href=https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/ashland\/2008\/12\/frozen-oregon-shakespeare-festival\/>Elizabethan Stage<\/a>.
