With a 3-0 lead heading into the 9th inning, and a share of 1st place in the Pac-12 within sight, all seemed to be going their way. The Beavers then loaded the bases in time for this photo. The batter, Danny Hayes, hit a rocket to right that could have evened things up, or put the Beavers ahead, but the ball went foul. The Ducks hung on to win the game and move into a tie for first.
