On the floor and on the screen at Seibu Dome (西武ドーム)
After watching a Seibu Lions game last year we were able to go down on the field with many other fans. Not only were we on the field but we were on the big screen as well. Ryan was rather excited (can you spot him?). Ellie, on the other hand, had been on big screens so many times (thanks to her blonde hair) by this point in Japan that I think she was doing more to get off the screen than remain in the public eye.

Hi, I’ve been trying to figure out how to go to a Lions game and their website is pretty difficult to navigate and google translate wasn’t too helpful either, and so I stumbled upon your blog. May I ask for some advice? Is there public transportation to and from the stadium? Buses or trains? Where can I get details in English? Sorry to bother you. Thanks very much for you help. Dave

Lions games are very easy to get to from Tokyo. Try this site: http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/ Your destination station is Seibukyujo-Mae. If it’s a weekend game, be sure to get there early or you may not be able to get a cheap seat (where all the fun people are).
