I started scanning them into .jpg format yesterday. I haven&#8217;t made it to his Japan photos (while in the military) yet.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure why Hawaiian dancers were entertaining the visitors to the temple on this day.<\/p>\n<p>You may be wondering, why did the Mormon Church put a temple in Cardston, instead of in a population center like Calgary, more than 110 years ago? The answer is that Cardston is just over the USA\/Canadian border, and it was a polygamy hot spot for Mormons fleeing the USA to practice polygamy.
