I saw these two play in Tokyo three years prior. In both cases the visiting team won. The Carp are in the Central League so the pitchers bat. (The other league uses a DH like the American League in MLB.) In today&#8217;s photo you can see the Carp pitcher, Kan Otake, bat. It was an amazing at bat for a pitcher.
