On some special occasions, like when a <em>maiko <\/em>(future<em> <a href=https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/geisha\/>geisha<\/a><\/em>)<em>\u00a0<\/em>debuts, three lines are left unpainted. This is supposed to make the neck even more erotic. What do you think? Does it work?<\/p>\n<p>Technically, since I was in Kyoto when I took the above photograph, I should refer to her as a <em>geiko <\/em>(or <em>maiko<\/em>).
