However, <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/2012\/01\/frame-of-reference-the-great-buddha-of-kamakura-and-the-pigeons\/>the one in Kamakura<\/a> is several meters taller. Maybe they meant the largest wood statue of the Buddha.
