What an amazing surprise it was to be walking around the streets of Rome and stumble on this scene.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dsc01945trim.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dsc01945trim-800x482.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"roman forum\" width=\"800\" height=\"482\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dsc01945trim-800x482.jpg 800w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dsc01945trim-150x90.jpg 150w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dsc01945trim.jpg 1630w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ruins of the Roman Forum are a must see while in Rome. I was fascinated to walk through it and feel the history. <\/p>\n<p>From the vantage point in the above photograph you can also see the Coliseum (background, slightly left of center), a place I pictured in my imagination to be off by itself. Instead there is vehicle traffic buzzing around it constantly.
