The last line of homes before running into the mountains (just east of <a href=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/\u5316\u91ce\u5ff5\u4ecf\u5bfa\/\">Adashino-Nenbutsu-ji (\u5316\u91ce\u5ff5\u4ecf\u5bfa)<\/a>) consisted of some fine ones with a thatch roof. Farming was still going on in the surrounding neighborhood.
