I think we&#8217;ll make the trip a mini-week here on the travel blog of 5 days or so. Unfortunately, it rained nearly the entire time so there won&#8217;t be many outdoor photos to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>To start things off, let&#8217;s begin with a picture of the waterfront. This was taken from the parking lot at OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). We didn&#8217;t realize it before arriving at OMSI, but our membership at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scienceworksmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ashland&#8217;s ScienceWorks<\/a> got us into OMSI for free. Apparently both are participants in the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) which provides free entrance to members of any of the other participating museums. This turned out to be a big savings for us. Our ScienceWorks membership was only $60 for an entire year.
