Last time in Iceland I explored the area between <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/reykjavik\/>Reykjav\u00edk<\/a> and <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/jokulsarlon-glacier-lagoon\/>Diamond Beach<\/a> pretty well so this year I&#8217;ll head north and west to explore the Westfjords and surrounding areas. I&#8217;m going to be sleeping in my rented van which comes equipped with a heated bed, sleeping bag, chairs, camping table, refrigerator, kitchenware, and camping gas. The van costs less per day than my lodgings alone last time. And the van is, obviously, far more flexible in terms of where I end my days.
