They were all over the place, dozens of them.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out they started in Berlin in 2001 and have since traveled around the world. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_Buddy_Bears\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Recently they were in Guatemala<\/a> but may be back in Berlin now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had no idea what these were when I visited Berlin a few summers ago.
