The Russians bombed it to smithereens in 1944 (sound familiar?). The rebuilding took almost 30 years, from 1953 until 1981. <\/p>\n<p>Like most other educated countries (except the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2019\/aug\/03\/athiesm-us-politics-2020-election-religious-beliefs\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">ignorance-loving USA<\/a>) in the world (Japan, Sweden, <a href=https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/2008\/08\/more-copenhagen-cloud-photos\/>Denmark<\/a>, Czech Republic, etc.), less than 20% of Estonians believe in god(s) so this building now serves as a museum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This church was originally built in the 13th Century.
