My first impression was that they seemed like a bunch of recently escaped mental hospital patients. Their stage at <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/loudpark\/>Loud Park<\/a> was nearly black through much of the set, making photography impossible. Mark Greenway, the lead singer, paced the stage in a rapid, clockwise circle through their entire set so I couldn&#8217;t have really captured him close up even if the lighting was decent. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/18150200.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/18150200-800x418.jpg\" alt=\"napalm death loud park 2009 tokyo japan \u30ca\u30d1\u30fc\u30e0\u30fb\u30c7\u30b9\" title=\"napalm death loud park 2009 tokyo japan \u30ca\u30d1\u30fc\u30e0\u30fb\u30c7\u30b9\" width=\"800\" height=\"418\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/18150200-800x418.jpg 800w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/18150200-250x130.jpg 250w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/18150200.JPG 1440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Napalm Death played a few, really short songs (under a minute each), but for the most part, I think they focused on their more recent, longer song-length material. Overall, I enjoyed their performance.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Greenway made some speeches between songs. Even though what he said was in English I couldn&#8217;t really understand him due to his thick Birmingham accent.
