Kuratake<\/a> near Otsuki, Japan. This lizard doesn&#8217;t look all that different from <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/ashland\/2008\/08\/a-lizard-on-pilot-rock\/>lizards I&#8217;ve seen in my neck of the woods<\/a>, except the tail is much longer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I spotted this Japanese grass lizard (\u30ab\u30ca\u30d8\u30d3 or Takydromus tachydromoides) on my hike of Mt.
