The seed for this Karasaki Matsu (Pine Tree) is said to have come from the famous pine tree depicted in the ukiyo-e pictured below (Night Rain at Karasaki) by <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/tag\/hiroshige\/>Hiroshige<\/a>.
