On nearly my last day I took a bike ride from Copenhagen to the south side of the airport to visit the cute little town of Drag\u00f8r. Drag\u00f8r consists of street after street of little yellow houses with either red tiles or thatched roofs. If memory serves, cars aren&#8217;t allowed on the cobblestone streets unless they live there so wandering through the narrow streets is lots of fun. However, if quaint, Danish architecture isn&#8217;t your thing you can head to the water to check out the lovely harbor.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_2487-Drag\u00f8r-harbor.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_2487-Drag\u00f8r-harbor-800x509.jpg\" alt=\"dragor harbour denmark\" title=\"Drag\u00f8r harbor\" width=\"800\" height=\"509\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9801\" srcset=\"https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_2487-Drag\u00f8r-harbor-800x509.jpg 800w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_2487-Drag\u00f8r-harbor-250x159.jpg 250w, https:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/DSC_2487-Drag\u00f8r-harbor.jpg 1696w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although not in the above photo, boats were coming in and out of the harbor bearing flags of their origin. I saw boats from Sweden, Norway, Germany, and of course Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>Drag\u00f8r is only a dozen or so kilometers from Copenhagen, but it seems like a different world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This time last year I was wrapping up my stay in Denmark.
