The first chance I had to see them live was at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1985 at the ripe old age of 16. I saw them four times in the following two years while they toured in support of their Powerslave and Somewhere in Time albums. But, as I mentioned <a href=http:\/\/traveljapanblog.com\/ashland\/2012\/08\/iron-maiden-shoreline-amphitheatre\/>on my other blog<\/a>, I only had the opportunity to witness Iron Maiden one other time (Brave New World tour) in the past 25 years&#8230; until this past Friday night when I made the drive down to the Shoreline Amphitheatre for a really fun evening.<\/p>\n<p>Iron Maiden is currently doing a throwback tour to their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son days which is fantastic for me as I didn&#8217;t see that tour.
