Gosh you live in a beautiful place and this is a great photo…how long did it take to reach the top of the mountain?

We didn’t go to the top. It was a school field trip so we had only six hours or so. To make it to the top (and down) in one day means that you leave at 2 or 3 in the morning and have great weather. Most who make it to the top do so over two days with a camp halfway up. Most who start don’t make it to the top though. It’s over 14,000 feet elevation at the summit. You start at about 7,000 feet.
What a beautiful view ! Great photo.
Maybe you would like to also add some of your photos of Ashland to trivago, an international community of travelers for travelers. I could imagine that anyone who is planing to make a trip in your area would enjoy to see them.
