Venus, Jupiter, and Starbucks

I took this picture of Starbucks before the Festival of Light parade on the last Friday in November. Above Starbucks you can see two bright lights. Those celestial bodies are Venus and Jupiter. A week later they made a very unique smiley face in the sky with the moon helping out.

Is this the first time that there’s been this particular conjunction? I mean the Starbucks bit!
At least your Starbucks is relatively scenic.

That moon shot is great!

I can’t take credit for the moon shot. That is an AP photo. I did see the conjunction of the moon with the two planets last week but we didn’t get the smiley face in our neck of the woods. I think you had to be in or near the Philippines to see the happy face.

I forgot to go out and look for the moon and planets last week. Our festival of lights was last weekend, we had a blast.
