Ashland is on the Oregon side of the California-Oregon border. While not far from the coast for birds, a mountain range gets in the way for those in cars.

Will have to put this on list of places to visit – looks like my perfect spot. Horseback riding, tree houses, natural swimming pool – what’s not to love?
