Hank the cat
Another contribution from my daughter. She took this one in April of 2007. My daughter is a pet lover. I am not. Every chance she gets she volunteers to watch the pets of others while they are out of town, etc. So this is “Hank,” a cat of a friend who spent a couple of days and a night at our house. My only memories of Hank include his walking over my face during the night while I was trying to sleep and the dozens of pictures my daughter took of him.

Wow, Hank is a big, beautiful guy. And not shy, either. I’ve never heard of a cat adjusting to another’s home so well. Our cat walks around my head when I’m lying down, too, but wouldn’t do that around a stranger. I don’t know what cat behavior that is, but this is the only cat we’ve ever had that did it, and I’d never heard anyone else notice it until your post. Must be a personality trait mixed with an instinctive behavior. Lovely green out that window, and the tennis court looks inviting! Did you route for Nadel or Federline?

To tell you the truth, I never watch tennis so I couldn’t even tell you who Nadel or Federline are. We don’t even play that much on the court which is a shame given its proximity. We played much more before moving here when we had to make more an effort to get to a court. We do use it though, just not usually for tennis. Like today I played football with my daughter on it.
