Fawns on the tennis court

My daughter took this picture a couple summers ago. We haven’t seen any fawns yet this year but it shouldn’t be long now.

Great photo. Is it unusual to see fawns traveling in pairs? I would assume that there would be only one fawn at a time born to a deer family.

Adorable find. Reminds me of Bambi.

Dave,
In our neck of the woods you rarely see deer, including fawns, alone. They usually travel in packs, sometimes 5 or more. Usually you see two or three fawns at once so I’m guessing they aren’t always, or even frequently, born one at a time.
