Lithia Park swimming reservoir
On the side of Lithia Park away from the plaza there exists a swimming reservoir that mostly just locals know about. The water is extremely cold, but it’s a nice place on a hot day. Nude sunbathers are out on occasion too.
I took this picture about a month ago when no one was there. Last time I rode by, on a warmer day, there were kids swinging on a rope into the water. That would have made for a better picture, but I didn’t have my camera with me.

‘Tis very beautiful. But, I’d probably stay out of the cold water…
This is an excellent photo. You could have taken the picture when the nudes were sunbathing, though. 🙂

It was almost bound to happen that there would be a great shot when you didn’t have your camera. Sometimes you kick yourself, sometimes you don’t want to be looking for shots all the time and are happy just to remember the scene.

Gee when I grew up there it was against the law to swim there you only did it if you dared!!!!
