Pioneer Place
We loved the free, Portland street car system. We could hop on and off anywhere. When it’s raining a popular place to jump off is Pioneer Place. I’m not into frou-frou shopping myself, but a book on the upper level with this view isn’t a bad way to burn an hour while those in your party do their thing.

Free transportation? That’s wonderful. This mall reminds me a bit of the Mall of America in Minneapolis. Great shot, and I can see why you’d enjoy sitting up on high.

Awesome view. I used to work within walking distance. It appears the trees have gained some height over the years.

I agree. Send them off and sit with a book. I find retail fatigue sets in halfway through the first shop.
