A day after her perfect game, Lauren Quirke didn’t let up. Today she gave up zero earned runs, and just three hits, in a stellar, 7-inning performance against ranked Corban University. Her offensive stats were even more impressive. She went 5 for 8 with a home run, four RBIs, and four runs scored in the doubleheader.
Lest anyone discount her perfect game yesterday, given that it was against a D3 team, note that George Fox is ranked #2 (out of 374 schools) in offense for D3 programs by Massey Ratings. George Fox in their prior three games had scored 38 runs in just 16 innings!
