April brings back baseball. This time of year games in the rain isn’t uncommon. Phoenix High School will be coming to North Mountain Park to play today at noon.

I was hoping to watch some baseball today at North Mountain Park. Ashland earned a number 1 seed which meant home games through the semifinals of the state tournament (should they win their games). Alas, Wednesday’s game did not go as planned, and the Grizzlies were upset by number 8 seed Madison. Rain fell through most of the game, and things did not go Ashland’s way in the 4-1 loss. The tournament is single elimination so the season is now over for the AHS Grizzlies.
