Ashland Creek in Lithia Park

Photo taken in August of 2008.
Almost 10 years ago the Ashland Creek flooded downtown Ashland. The creek is pretty tame in August. I find it more exciting during a rainstorm or on a warm day in spring when the snow is melting quickly.

Al, thanks for coming by,
I won’t get my cart, before my Trojan horse. I am not taking any chances, this election is too important to not be vigilant until it is won.
John has had many a comeback, and there are ways powerful men have of taking an election. That’s why we have Bush in office.
Persevere, promote freedom, promote Obama.
Nice photo BTW, and thank s for stopping by my blog..
btw a popup comes up from your blog..?

Sherry,
There is no popup from my blog. It must have come from somewhere else.
http://www.intrade.com has a proven track record of predicting elections (far better than pollsters), and they show Obama winning in a landslide. Even if McCain could come back and win the “battleground states” of Nevada, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida (all states that Obama currently is predicted to win) Obama would still have more than the required electoral votes to win the White House.

I like this shot of a beautiful creek. I love the sound of the water over the rocks.
