Jered Weaver throws a no hitter

Last night Jered Weaver of the Los Angeles Angels no hit the Minnesota Twins. Today’s photo is from a couple weeks ago when Weaver shutout my Oakland A’s in Anaheim. Weaver recorded his 1,000th career strikeout on that evening.

I don’t know much about baseball, but this is a nice sport action photo.

I was nowhere near Weaver when I took this one, Steffe. But with a 1.7X teleconverter and on my D7000 crop sensor I was able to achieve an effective 35mm focal length of 510mm to capture this.
