Jared Hixon had a busy week collecting awards. On Friday the All American and National Champion in the 1500 was named the Cascade Conference Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Last night he picked up the Alumni Award (the highest award given) at the 2016 Red and Black All-Sports Awards from his fellow SOU student athletes. Today he was named the CCC Athlete of the Year.
