Freshman phenom Ayla Davies

Not only did the Raiders win all three of their must-win games today, but take a look at the combined scores of those games (against the next best teams in the NAIA I should point out) — 17-0.

Ayla Davies went 3-0 today, pitching in 13 innings total. She struck out 19 batters and gave up zero runs!

Weather permitting, SOU will go for their fourth consecutive odd-year national championship tomorrow morning starting at 7 a.m. PT. See you at Oak Tree for breakfast.

The Raiders will be finishing what they started this morning at 8 a.m. Hopefully they will follow that with a win against Eastern Oregon University at 9ish and finish off the day with a victory against Oklahoma City to push things to tomorrow.

The Raiders will face Georgia Gwinnett tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. PT. Massey Ratings gives SOU a 68% chance of victory.

With a win, they will have to face their next opponent at 1 p.m. on the same day.

Massey Ratings did a bit better than the coaches, sending 5 of Massey’s Top 10 to Georgia compared to the coaches getting only 4. Also Massey’s top two are going and the coaches top two aren’t.
