SOU Softball
Sydney White
Concordia-Irvine won the National Championship last year, and they are ranked #1 this year, but two of their past three losses (mingled with 48 victories) are against the SOU Women’s Softball Team. Sydney White led the way, as she probably will all this season, with a complete game victory.

Kristen Schoenherr
Southern Oregon University guard Kristen Schoenherr was the CCC Player of the Week for the second time this season for her performance this past Friday and Saturday nights. This weekend she will lead the Raiders as they hit the road for games at Corban and Northwest Christian. A couple of victories could move the Raiders into second place in the 10-team conference, but Corban is 5-1 at home so it won’t be easy.
SOU football team members Michael Bryant (#62) and Trevor Kuyper (#46) achieved Academic All-Conference Honors

SOU snow
No, the winter without precipitation hasn’t changed its course. Instead, my random, desktop image of the day is from the archives. This photo comes from November of 2010. We normally get about 3″ of wet stuff in November. There was none this past November. We normally get an average of about 3″ of snow and another 3″ of rain in January. Not so this year.
