Ski Fence
I drove to Ellie’s middle school volleyball game this past week in Talent, Oregon (just north of Ashland). I drove by a house with a front yard fence made out of about 20 – 30 skis. When I turned the corner I realized they had used a lot more than just a couple dozen skis; the fence made entirely of skis went all the way around their property.
Beckie’s homemade pies
Following up on yesterday’s entry, I had the very berry (strawberry, blackberry, and a few others) pie.
Ryan had the peanut butter pie. Actually we each ate half of each other’s.
The USS Blueback (SS-581)
I took the above photograph from inside OMSI. The submarine is the USS Blueback. We took a tour of it many years ago when visiting OMSI so we didn’t feel the need to explore its insides this go around. The Marquam Bridge also makes an appearance in today’s picture.
