Tyler’s two-out double in the 6th inning yesterday brought in two runs to tie the game. She is shown here scoring the go-ahead run on Kelsey Randall’s triple. The Raiders swept the double header. They play two more today beginning at 11.

Sunny and 60 degrees at game time. Head over to the field on the corner of Wightman and Iowa Streets to catch the 14-4 Raiders.

Southern Oregon had a tough draw for the first round of the national tournament. Northwestern (Iowa) was the type of team SOU has had trouble with all year, and the game was pretty much a home game for them. The Raiders finish 27-5 on the year.

A few years back monks from the Shaolin Temple in the Henan Province of China visited SOU to perform with the Huaxia Orchestra from the museum in Zhengzhou. Having visited the Shaolin Temple and the museum in Zhengzhou a few years before that, it was not a night I was going to miss.

Today’s photo is from their performance in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus.
