Nearly two years to the day of their last performance at the Ashland Armory, DSO is scheduled for a return on February 11. It’s a Tuesday night so you’ll want to take the 12th off from work. 😉
Save $5 by purchasing your tickets in advance at the normal locations (for instance Music Coop in Ashland, Magic Man in Medford, or Listen Hear Records in Grants Pass) or online here for a small fee.

The bad news is they aren’t coming through Ashland this time. The good news is they are playing in Eugene, and tickets for that show on the 8th of March are still available.

The 31st annual Ashland Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Celebration will take place Monday at noon in the Ashland Armory. Kamilah Long is the 2019 keynote speaker. Get there early if you want a seat as the armory fills to capacity every year. If you can’t get there before 11:30, head to the Varsity Theatre for a free, live broadcast.
I’m currently in Eugene, the home town of MarchFourth’s founder John Averill so when this image came up as my random, desktop image of the day I thought it would make a good post for today. This photo was taken six months ago. Hopefully, MarchFourth will make a return trip to the Ashland Armory soon.
Speaking of the Ashland Armory, The English Beat is playing there this Friday night.
