Frontier Conference football goes to 8-2 against other conferences

With this year’s new Frontier Conference football scheduling, which has each team playing each other just once, more non-conference games were created. Previously, some schools only had conference games, and those that didn’t only had one non-conference game. This year all teams had at least one, and some had two. The result? An 8-2 record, with the only losses being by Arizona Christian and Eastern Oregon–two teams not expected to finish near the top of the conference standings. Massey Ratings, therefore, has six Frontier Conference football teams in the top 24. The coaches will have their poll out tomorrow, but don’t count on six Frontier Conference teams being in that top 24.
