Tomorrow marks the beginning of the 2022 softball season for SOU. A doubleheader against Simpson is scheduled in Ashland beginning at noon.

A parade and ceremony to honor the 2021 NAIA Champion SOU softball team will take place today in downtown Ashland.
The parade will start at 3:30 on Union Street across from Safeway and head North through downtown along the southbound lanes into the Plaza and will end at the Bandshell in Lithia Park where a ceremony and trophy presentation will take place at 4 p.m.
Feel free to line the sidewalks of southbound Siskiyou Blvd and cheer on the champions and/or meet at the bandshell for the ceremony.

The Raiders will welcome Morningside, Hope International, and Saint Katherine to US Cellular Fields in Medford next week. Massey has them at #11, #18, and #96 respectively.
Even though they lost two in a row, Massey still has SOU as the #1 team in the country by a decent margin.

Riley Donovan was named the Cascade Conference Softball Player of the Week. In SOU’s four blow-out wins in Eugene, Donovan went 6-for-11 with 11 RBIs. She had a grand slam and two RBI doubles. Donovan also was 2-for-2 with her stolen base attempts.
