SOU Softball’s Julia Willison
She hit her first three home runs of the season, a grand slam and two three-run shots, leading the Raiders to four wins during the week. She went 7-for-16 and reached base in 13 of 23 plate appearances.
The Raiders have a road doubleheader tomorrow before returning to Ashland this weekend. They currently sit in third place in the conference with almost half of the conference games still to come.

The Raiders improved their CCC record to 9-3 today by winning two at Corban University. Willison improved her team-leading stats to a .426 batting average, .681 slugging percentage, and .582 on-base percentage. She also leads the team in runs and total bases.

Today’s softball games have been cancelled. The Raiders don’t play at home again until April 18 (weather permitting).

With a little over half the season still remaining, Oregon Tech is undefeated in conference play with a two game lead over Concordia and four game lead over conference favorite, College of Idaho. Play resumes this weekend with SOU and OIT travelling to Concordia (and Northwest). Things will be clearer (or not) after those games.

The 8-0 Owls of Oregon Tech will come over the mountain to Ashland today to take on the 7-1 Raiders. Game times are 2 and 4 p.m., and the weather looks fantastic.

The Southern Oregon University Softball Team continued to surprise people with two wins against the conference-favorite Yotes yesterday in Ashland. They are now 7-1 in the conference, setting up a battle for first place in Monday’s doubleheader against 8-0 Oregon Tech.

Two games today in Ashland (2 and 4). Two more tomorrow (11 and 1). Saturday’s games will be against conference favorite, College of Idaho. Friday’s foe is Eastern Oregon University. The location is University Field (corner of Iowa and Wightman).

The Southern Oregon University Softball Team has a doubleheader against Northwest Christian University today. Games are at 2 and 4 at the Iowa Street Field. These will be the first two conference games of the season for the Raiders.
