Today’s photo comes from almost 10 years ago when I was in a private plane for the first, and only, time in my life. I’d really like to do this again someday–especially since I know so much more about photography now. And on a more low-tech note, the first thing I should have done is clean the windows!

I purchased a couple of lenses from a guy in a Medford parking lot back in early 2013. This is one of the test shots from one of those lenses.

Alas, the Donut Den went out of business, and this place is now a T-Mobile store. Hopefully, someone has this glorious Homer Simpson set up in their living room or something.

The parade was canceled a while back when the new Covid cases were much higher than they are now. I thought it was an odd decision even then given that kids had been back in school. An outdoor event where everyone is moving and many are wearing masks seems like a fairly safe occasion. Ashland’s vaccination rate is also very high. Sigh. Next year…

Great name for a winery, but let’s be honest. They should be called Mountain View Winery or View from the Valley Winery, and the winery on the top of the mountain should be called Valley View Winery.
