Donut Den’ Homer Simpson (Medford, Oregon – March 2013)
I purchased a couple of lenses from a guy in a Medford parking lot back in early 2013. This is one of the test shots from one of those lenses.
Alas, the Donut Den went out of business, and this place is now a T-Mobile store. Hopefully, someone has this glorious Homer Simpson set up in their living room or something.
2013 Ashland Halloween Parade
The parade was canceled a while back when the new Covid cases were much higher than they are now. I thought it was an odd decision even then given that kids had been back in school. An outdoor event where everyone is moving and many are wearing masks seems like a fairly safe occasion. Ashland’s vaccination rate is also very high. Sigh. Next year…

Great name for a winery, but let’s be honest. They should be called Mountain View Winery or View from the Valley Winery, and the winery on the top of the mountain should be called Valley View Winery.

Ashland Halloween Parade
I doubt we’ll be seeing much of this in Ashland this year, but hopefully next year?
Today’s photo comes from a hike on a trail called Amanda’s Trail near Yachats, Oregon in November of 2016.
Today’s photo is from a 45 minute drive from Ashland. This photo is from seven years ago. I’m not sure if this marina exists anymore. Due to low water levels there are certainly times in which it is closed, but I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent.
