Coach Jessica Pistole makes her debut for the Raiders today. A new era begins with a much deeper team (20 players compared to last year’s 14), including seven freshmen on the roster. More details here.

Julia Willison was among the league leaders in many offensive categories and lead the league in on-base percentage earning her a spot on the all-conference team. Ashley Lowe received honorable mention.
Last four home games of the season begin today.
She hit her first three home runs of the season, a grand slam and two three-run shots, leading the Raiders to four wins during the week. She went 7-for-16 and reached base in 13 of 23 plate appearances.
The Raiders have a road doubleheader tomorrow before returning to Ashland this weekend. They currently sit in third place in the conference with almost half of the conference games still to come.
The Raiders improved their CCC record to 9-3 today by winning two at Corban University. Willison improved her team-leading stats to a .426 batting average, .681 slugging percentage, and .582 on-base percentage. She also leads the team in runs and total bases.
With a little over half the season still remaining, Oregon Tech is undefeated in conference play with a two game lead over Concordia and four game lead over conference favorite, College of Idaho. Play resumes this weekend with SOU and OIT travelling to Concordia (and Northwest). Things will be clearer (or not) after those games.
The Southern Oregon University Softball Team continued to surprise people with two wins against the conference-favorite Yotes yesterday in Ashland. They are now 7-1 in the conference, setting up a battle for first place in Monday’s doubleheader against 8-0 Oregon Tech.
