The abrupt ending of this year’s NAIA basketball season was difficult for the 16 remaining teams, including three from the Cascade Conference. No National Champion was crowned, and all three CCC teams had a legitimate shot with College of Idaho being a number 1 seed and SOU and OIT being number 2 seeds. How cool would it have been had there been three CCC teams in the final four?
Tate Hoffman received a bit of a consolation prize with his All-American achievement being announced yesterday.
BTW, Massey had SOU at #6 in their final rankings.

Massey has SOU as 5-point favorites over Holy Cross. Game time in Ashland is 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning. You can watch it at Oaktree, or, because of the live fan ban, you can stream it for free.*
* Update: “Effective immediately, all remaining NAIA winter championship events will be canceled, including those that are currently underway.”
